Inspired and initiated by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji, the Chinmaya Mission has been organizing the Bhagawad Geeta Chanting Competition for children and youth for the past few years with phenomenal success.

Why such a competition?

Let us understand the grand vision behind the seemingly simple programme. Chanting initially introduces one to the world renowned Bhagawad Geeta. Naturally this leads to the study of the text, resulting in the gain of the knowledge revealed therein. Knowledge translated into action becomes a way of living one’s life successfully and joyously.

Thus CHANT – STUDY – KNOW - LIVE is the logical design of the project.
