| Yet another school year begins bringing to our mind the task of buying the school supplies needed for our kids. At this point we would like to bring to your attention to the fact that there are plenty of kids in our county who do not have the means to buy even the basic school supplies needed. For this purpose United Way and Loudoun county are sponsoring a school supplies drive, to help children of low income families return to school in September prepared for the new school year. |

| Here’s how each of you can participate in this drive: |
| What supplies should we bring? |
| Book bags, spiral notebooks, three-ring binders, notebook paper (college rule and wide rule), pens, pink erasers, number 2 pencils, loose leaf 3-ring paper, scissors (round end), rulers, crayons, markers, colored pencils, pencil holders, composition books, pocket folders, Kleenex, plastic storage bags, liquid soap and lots of miscellaneous items. If you have a child in school, check out their supply list for more ideas. |
| We will collect the school supplies on 16th September from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. |
